Scope of Service Experience
Mike specializes in industrial sales and leasing, specializing in buyer/seller or tenant/landlord representation, ground sales and build-to-suit transactions. Mike is a consultant to the NAI Logistics Council and assists in the relocation of NAI national clients in the Midwest. Mike is also the local representative of NAI NAFTA, supporting local companies in their efforts to utilize opportunities available as a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Mike has been involved in the sales, leasing, and consulting of commercial and industrial real estate since 1983. He has negotiated transactions totaling over 16,530,000 square feet of Industrial improved properties and over 850 acres of land sales. This transaction volume exceeds $375,650,058.

Prior to joining NAI Olympia Partners as a Principal in January of 1994, Mike was a Vice President with CB Commercial. In 1987 Mike achieved the status of Sales Consultant; in 1989, Senior Sales Consultant; and in 1993 Vice President, each year being recognized as a top producer. As an Owner of NAI Olympia, Mike continues his commitment to production and quality service.

Mike was born and raised in Indianapolis, is married and is raising 4 children. His passion includes teaching, and coaching youth sports. He presently coaches 14 year old basketball, and 7th and 8th grade football at St. Simon School. Mike is a former board member of Fall Creek Little League, where he has served in many capacities, and presently is on the Board of Regents for Bishop Chatard High School where he co-chairs the advancement committee for the school. In addition, he serves as a Eucharistic Minister for his church.

Union Planters Bank: Represented Union Planters Bank in the sale of a repossessed 104,000 square foot manufacturing facility to WF Properties. Total consideration of this transaction was $900,000.

Micro Xpress: Represented the interests of Micro Xpress in the build-to-suit negotiations with Duke Realty for their new 25,000 square foot corporate office/warehouse facility. Total consideration of this transaction was $1,280,000.

Indy Office Solutions: Represented East 86th Street Partners in a 10 year lease agreement with Indy Office Solutions. This 20,000 square foot transaction was valued in excess of $2,100,000.

Prime Distribution Services, Inc. (PDS): Represented this national logistics company in a 7 year, 486,000 square foot lease transaction to First Industrial Realty Investments (Landlord). Total transaction volume exceeded $8,792,000.

USA Group: Represented Lantern Road Properties in the sale of 17 acres of interstate frontage ground to the USA Group in Fishers, Indiana. Total transaction volume was $2,075,000.

Heartland Industries: Represented James A. House in the successful negotiations of a 108,000 square foot, 7-year lease transaction with Heartland Industries. Total consideration of this transaction exceeded $2,419,000.

Pattillo Properties: Represented Pattillo Properties, located in Atlanta, Georgia, in the purchase of 92 acres of industrial park ground located in Greenwood, Indiana. The total transaction value was in excess of $4,700,000.
Dermody Properties: Represented an entity of Premiere Properties, USA in the sale of 66 acres of ground located in Airwest Business Park, Plainfield, Indiana. Dermody Properties (Buyer) has plans to develop this site over the years. Total consideration of this transaction exceeded $2,900,000.

NAPA - Balkamp: Represented Genuine Parts (Balkamp's Parent Company) to Duke Realty in the purchase of 30 acres of property located in Plainfield, Indiana and the design build of a 300,000 square foot regional distribution center. Total transaction value exceeds $6,870,000.

Insight.com: Represented Insight in their negotiations of the lease of the 169,000 square feet national distribution center, which is located in the Park Fletcher Business Park. Total consideration of this transaction exceeded $3,160,000.

BMG Entertainment: Represented BMG in the lease of 105,000 square feet of space, which is part of their present distribution facility located in Indianapolis. This was a unique requirement given that BMG desired a short-term lease.

Church Brothers Automotive Group: I have completed eleven transaction with Church Brothers Automotive Group, assisting in their real estate transactions for over ten (10) years. Total consideration of these transactions exceeds $4,250,000.

Culligan International: Representing Culligan in the disposition and acquisition of their real estate portfolio in the Indianapolis area. This activity includes the purchase of their Indianapolis Home Office (30,000 square feet), disposition of former manufacturing/office facilities (14,000 square feet) and the disposition of residual ground.

Boehringer Mannheim Corp(Roche Diagnostics): Successful representation of the liquidation of 50 acres of residual ground located at their corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. The sale price of this property exceeded the listing price. This transaction was valued at over $12,000,000.

Koll Real Estate Services: Representing KB Realty in the purchase of Castleton Park. This transaction was valued at just under $40,000,000 and consisted of 44 building encompassing 1,161,887 square feet and 120 acres.

Airborne Express Co.: Representing Airborne in a Build-to-Suit-to-Lease transaction on their newest 25,000 square foot depot in Castleton. The ground purchase, construction costs and lease value was in excess of $2,800,000.

James River Corporation: Representing Western Select Properties in a 350,850 square foot lease negotiations with The James River Corporation. This lease transaction value was in excess of $4,750,000.

O'Malia Investment Co., Inc.: Representing O'Malia in the successful disposition of their 33,000 square foot headquarters/warehouse facility located in Noblesville, Indiana. The real estate transaction value is confidential.

Macmillan Bloedel, Inc.: Representing Macmillan's bulk packaging division in the acquisition of an 110,000 square foot production facility located northwest Indianapolis. The real estate transaction value was in excess of $3,800,000.

Aqua-Fab Industries: Representing Aqua Fab in the sale of their 36,000 square foot distribution facility, which was located northeast Indianapolis. This transaction was valued at $870,000.

Cooper Industries: Representing Cooper Industries in securing a 47,000 square foot facility in Indianapolis representing over $600,000 value.

ITT Grinnell Corp.: Representing The Grinnell Corporation in securing a 95,812 square foot facility in Indianapolis. This transaction was valued in excess of $3,500,000.

Mennen Company: Representing the Mennen Company in successfully securing 257,000 square feet. This lease transaction was valued in excess of $1,400,000.

Navistar International: Representing Navistar in the successful transaction of their 625,000 square foot manufacturing building located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This transaction was valued in excess of $5,500,000.
